How our coloring pages are made
Every EarlyHue printable combines AI-generated artwork with human review. Here is exactly how a page goes from idea to a printable you can download.
AI-generated artwork
Each illustration begins as a structured brief describing the subject, composition, and style requirements for young children, such as bold outlines, simple shapes, and no tiny details. An AI image model then generates candidate artwork from that brief. We keep a record of the prompt, model, and generation details for every published illustration, so its origin is always traceable.
Automated screening
Candidate artwork is checked automatically before any person sees it. Screenings look for line quality, composition, and consistency with the brief, and unsuitable candidates are rejected or regenerated rather than pushed forward.
Human review before publication
No artwork becomes a public printable without human approval. A reviewer confirms age suitability, originality and rights, visual quality, and consistency with EarlyHue’s style before the page is prepared as a US Letter PDF with descriptive titles and Alt text.
Why we work this way
AI generation lets us grow a free library across many topics without cutting corners on quality, and human review keeps the library trustworthy for parents, teachers, and caregivers. We publish only what passes both gates, and we would rather release fewer pages than skip a review.
